Utes To Compete in Region VII Intercollegiate

THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's tennis team continues their fall season this week, travelling to Las Vegas, Nev. for the Omni Hotels Region VII Mountain Championships. The tournament takes place from Oct. 23-26. The tournament will inlcude all of the Mountain West Conference teams, Boise State, Northern Arizona, and other teams from the mountain west.
UTES TO WATCH: As a freshman last year, Daniel Lohff went 4-0, inlcluding an upset over second-seed Mark Roberts of Boise State. Lohff is fresh off capturing the consolation bracket at the Brigham Young Intercollegiate earlier this month. Tyler Poulson also had a strong showing in the BYU torunament, making it to the quarterfinals.
UPCOMING: The Utes will open the new year by hosting Utah State on January 24 in the Eccles Tennis Center.
