Utah Tennis to Begin Conference Play

THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's tennis squad will travel to Provo, Utah, to begin conference play, with three dual matches, this week. The 63rd-ranked Utes will take to the courts against a 6-4 Brigham Young squad on Thursday, Mar. 22. On Mar. 23, the Utes will play Air Force. The 11-4 Falcons entertain the best pre-conference record in the Mountain West and have won five consecutive matches. The Utes will then face off against 8-3 New Mexico on Saturday, Mar. 24.
LAST WEEK: The Utes enjoyed a week off after a tough road trip Mar. 9-12 which featured matches against 10th-ranked Pepperdine, 19th-ranked Southern California, and 50th-ranked San Diego. The Utes suffered three losses to fall to 6-5 on the season.
THE UTES: The 6-5 Utes have not lost to an un-ranked opponent this season. They are looking to pick up their first road wins of the year this weekend.
COMING UP: The Utes will travel to San Diego, Calif. Mar. 30-31 to finish off conference play against 55th-ranked UNLV and 62nd-ranked San Diego.
