Utah Men's Tennis Opens Season at BYU Intercollegiate Tournament

This Week: The Utah men's tennis team will open its 2001-2002 season at the BYU Intercollegiate Tournament on Oct. 3-6. In addition to BYU the Utes will compete against Boise State, Utah State and Weber State. Competition begins at 1:00 p.m on Oct. 3 and will end on Oct. 6.
Quoting Head Coach F.D. Robbins: "This is a sanctioned tournament that will be a good test for our players. It's a good way to see where the players are at and how they react to different situations. We can also get a good look at the new players. We've been practicing for two and a half weeks and I'm looking forward to the tournament."
After This: The Utes will travel to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete in the Rolex Region VII Tournament
