Salt Lake City - Senior Trevor Ferguson was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete All-American this past July. To be nominated, the student-athlete must be a varsity letterwinner with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). He/she must be a junior or senior in both athletic and academic standing at his/her current institution and must have completed one academic year at the nominating institution to be eligible.
Ferguson finished the 2000 season with a 10-11 dual, 1-1 tournament and 11-12 overall record in singles play.
The Sandy, Utah native will stay on with the men's tennis team as an assistant coach for the Utes.
