SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah volleyball head coach Beth Launiere announced Wednesday the signing of two recruits to national letters of intent. Megan Anderson, a 6-1 middle blocker from Boise, Idaho, and Lorraine Morrison, a 6-0 outside hitter/setter from Casper, Wyo., will join the Utes next year. Anderson played for the USA/IVA High Performance Team last summer, and toured Utah and Idaho with the Puerto Rico Junior National Team. Anderson was a first-team all-state selection and conference MVP at Boise High School. She also plays with the Boise River Volleyball Club. Anderson was also recruited by Arizona State and Fresno State. Morrison, a first-team all-state selection, led Kelly Walsh High School to a third-place finish at the Wyoming state tournament. Morrison plays for the Fort Collins Volleyball Club. She was also recruited heavily by Wyoming.
