ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The 10th seeded University of Utah women's tennis team continued on in the Western Athletic Conference tournament's consolation bracket by blanking No. 15 seeded Wyoming, 5-0. Molly Sanderson, playing at No. 2 singles, had the only test of Utah's morning, battling through a three-set, 6-0, 5-7, 7-6(5) match over Sarah Kay. The Utes were impressive against the Cowboys winning five singles matches, while doubles play and the sixth singles match were not necessary for the team victory. No. 1 singles (No. 76 nationally) Megan Payne cruised, 6-2, 7-5. Linn Ronnberg, Heidi Thomas, and Brooke Wilkinson playin at Nos. 3, 4, and 6 respectively all made quick work of their Cowboy opponents. Utah will play No. 11 seed Southern Methodist University at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
