BERKELEY, Calif.-The University of Utah men's tennis team lost it's second straight match Wednesday, 6-0. The match was delayed over two hours because of heavy rain in northern California resulting in the cancellation of the doubles matches.
This is Utah's second straight loss versus a Pac-10 team and it's third loss out of four matches on the current road trip. Utah's No. 3 seed Phil Rodrigue forced his opponent, Adrian Barnes to three sets, losing in a tight match, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6. All other Ute netters lost in straight sets. Utah will return home, if the weather permits, on Thursday and will enjoy a two week break before it's next match versus UNLV on Mar. 13.
