Cottonwood senior Tyler Poulson signed with University of Utah men's tennis team last week.
Poulson has put together an excellent career at the high school level. As a sophomore, he placed 2nd in state singles and lead his team to a fourth place finish at the 5A level. Last year, as a junior, Poulson repeated his 2nd place performance in singles play, and in team competition, Cottonwood won the state 5A title. He finished the year ranked 2nd in the Intermountain West Region. Poulson is also a very dedicated student, currently holding a 3.9 grade point average.
He will begin playing at the U. in the fall of 1999.
