Prior to Utah: The MVP of 3A, Lopez was a first-team all-state performer after amassing 35 goals and 23 assists during her time at Logan HS. Lopez played club with La Roca along with fellow Utes Haylee Cacciacarne and Eden Jacobsen.
Personal: She is the daughter of Erik and Ann and has eight siblings, Karly, Whitney, Anna, Mia, Carter, Kolby, Ethan and Bryson. An honor roll student who has competed in half marathons, Lopez is recovering from a torn ACL
Lopez on Utah: "I chose to attend Utah because it is the best school in the state."
Manning on Lopez: "Demi is an excellent all-around midfielder. She plays with skill and vision on offense and she covers ground, tackles and heads it on defense. We like her competitive spirit and feel for the game. She is coming back strong from injury and we look forward to seeing her back on the field."
