2018: Redshirted
Prior to Utah: A team captain at Sierra College, Goodwin was a two-time All-Big 8 Conference selection as a goalkeeper and even scored four goals, all on free-kicks. Despite missing half of the 2017 season with a torn shoulder ligament, Goodwin still captured Big 8 Defensive Player of the Year Academic All-American honors. Already a Rocklin High School Hall of Fame inductee, Goodwin played her club soccer with Galaxy Blues
Personal: Jamie is the daughter of Barry and Nancy Goodwin and has four siblings, Jason, Julia, Kristian and Chris. She plans to major in kinesiology and hopes to become an athletic trainer. Diagnosed with leukemia at an early age, Goodwin went through two-and-a-half years of chemotherapy
Goodwin on Utah: "I chose Utah because it is a complete change for me. I have lived in a small town for most of my life and I am just excited to try something new.
Manning on Goodwin: "While at Sierra College, Jamie has been one of the top goalkeepers in California. She is quick, has great range and distributes the ball well. We also love her composure. She has a quiet confidence that spreads to her teammates on the field. She will team with Carly and S.J. to give us a very strong corps of goalkeepers."
