Natalie begins her first season with the Runnin’ Utes basketball program as an executive assistant after joining Alex Jensen's staff in May of 2025.
Lainhart joins the staff with familiarity to the state having worked at BYU in different capacities from 2020-24. She spent two seasons on Mark Pope’s staff as an executive assistant from 2020-22 before moving to the operations side with the women’s basketball team from 2022-24.
A 2024 graduate of BYU-Idaho, Lainhart started her collegiate basketball career at Idaho (2011-13) before transferring to BYU-Hawaii (2013). She then wrapped up her career at Salt Lake CC (2013-14).
Lainhart was a prep star at Silverado High School in Las Vegas, Nev., where she was named 4A First-Team All-State and was also an all-region selection her senior year. She finished her career as the 13th-leading scorer in Nevada history at the 4A level with 1,266 career points and averaged 16.6 points and 13.7 rebounds in her senior campaign. That senior season also saw her record a staggering 16 double-doubles in 20 games.
