VanBrocklin touched the wall in 1:43.80 in the 200 IM to close out his collegiate career, finishing 29th in the field. The program record holder in the 100 and 200 Fly, VanBrocklin wraps up a season in which he logged 10 first-place finishes.
"Evan had a good swim this morning," head coach
Jonas Persson said. "He went out and executed really well and was really close to his personal best, so I'm very happy with his performance today. He has been a very important part of our team the last four years and has contributed a lot in and out of the pool and in the classroom, so we are sorry to see him leave, but we're all excited to see what he will do in his next chapter his life."
