Wasatch Front helped the Utes total 545 yards of offense in win over Kansas
IRVING, Texas — Utah has been named Big 12 Offensive Line of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Â
Nicknamed the Wasatch Front, the group paved the way for the Utes to rack up 545 total yards of offense in Saturday's 41-24 win over Kansas. It was the second time this season that the team tallied more than 500 yards and third game that Utah eclipsed 450 yards.
Â
Playing in front of a sold-out Rice-Eccles Stadium crowd, Utah recorded a season-high 31 first downs on the night and had both a 100-yard rusher and receiver for the first time this season.
Â
Individually, left tackle Zereoue Williams was graded an 86.5 for the week by Pro Football Network to lead all Big 12 players at the position and rank sixth in FBS.
Â
Utah has scored 30-plus points in all five games to start this season, accomplishing that feat for the first time since 1994.
Â
UP NEXT
Utah is back on the road for an 8:15 p.m. MT kickoff at Colorado on Saturday, Oct. 17. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
