SALT LAKE CITY – The 2025-26 Utah men's basketball roster for
Alex Jensen's inaugural season at the helm is complete with addition of three more players.
The Runnin' Utes roster will feature 15 players hailing from seven different countries, three different continents and span coast-to-coast from the United States.
"Our staff is excited to have a full team heading into the academic year and can't wait to hit the court with each and every one of them," head coach
Alex Jensen noted. "The addition of Abbey, Josh and Alvin gives us additional depth and complements our roster."
The final three additions to the roster include
Obomate Abbey, Joshua Hayes and
Alvin Jackson III as they bring the total number of newcomers to 12 for Utah. The three are joined by
Terrence Brown,
Keanu Dawes,
Babacar Faye,
Jahki Howard,
Jerry Huang,
Don McHenry, Elijah "Choppa" Moore,
James Okonkwo,
Jacob Patrick,
Kendyl Sanders,
Ibi Traore and
Seydou Traore – who were
announced earlier this summer.

Freshman – Guard – 6-0 – 194
Jyväskylä, Finland - Jyväskylä Basketball Academy
• Represented Finland at the 2025 U20 Eurobasket Tournament, averaging 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.0 assists
• Averaged 15.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in six games for Finland at the 2024 U18 Eurobasket Tournament
• Participated in 2023 FIBA U18 European Championships, averaging 13.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists
• Made his national team debut, playing in the 2022 FIBA U18 European Championships B Division and averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists
JOSH HAYES
Junior – Forward – 6-9 – 196
Gainesville, Fla. – Gainesville High School
Northwest Florida State | App State
• Averaged 9.9 points and 5.2 rebounds with a .578 shooting clip his lone season at Northwest Florida State
• Earned Panhandle All-Conference Second-Team selections in 2024-25
• Reached double-figures 15 times – including a double-double against Harcum College with 15 points and 15 rebounds
• Posted a career-high 19 points on the road at Bishop State CC in 2024-25
ALVIN JACKSON III
Sophomore – Guard – 6-5 – 214
Washington, D.C. – Bethesda Chevy Chase HS
Salt Lake CC
• Averaged 6.4 points and 2.1 rebounds with a .410 shooting clip as a freshman at Salt Lake CC
• Scored a season-high 18 points on 4-5 shooting from deep against Harcum College
• Helped lead Bethesda Chevy Chase HS to the MPSSAA Class 4A Tournament his senior year
• Younger brother of Frank Jackson, who starred at Duke and was selected 31st-overall in the 2017 NBA Draft
