SALT LAKE CITY – With some teams on byes for Week 8, the schedule of Utah Utes in the NFL is a little lighter—but nonetheless, 11 Pro Utes are anticipated to suit up this weekend among 28 program alumni on rosters throughout the league.
With four Utah alumni on the roster, the Denver Broncos carry a 5-2 record into Week 8 and sit atop the AFC West. The Broncos have Garett Bolles, Jonah Elliss and Karene Reid all on the active roster plus Caleb Lohner as a member of the practice squad. Philadelphia, which has been helped by Britain Covey on the practice squad, leads the NFC East at 5-2.

Alex Whittingham is in his eighth season in the Kansas City Chiefs organization and first as assistant defensive line coach, while Brian Johnson is in his second season as the Washington Commanders' assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator.
