Ryan Davis led the Utah receiver corps with seven receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown; dating back to last season at New Mexico, Davis now has tallied three-plus receptions in his last 12 games.
Larry Simmons brought in two catches for 26 yards and a touchdown, his second score of the season.
JJ Buchanan tallied 43 receiving yards, his most of the season, and his 32-yard reception in the fourth quarter marked a career long.Â
Defense
Just the second game this season the Utah defense has allowed more than 350 yards.
John Henry Daley finished the day with a sack and a TFL; Daley has now made at least 1.0 TFL and 0.5 sacks in all seven games this season.
Logan Fano set a new career high with nine tackles.Â
Elijah Davis recorded his first solo TFL of the season; finished with five tackles.
Jackson Bennee matched his career high with eight tackles, set last week against Arizona State.
Aliki Vimahi set a career high with six tackles and made his first TFL of the season.
Jonah Lea'ea recorded his first sack of the season.Â
Special Teams
Mana Carvalho logged a 16-yard punt return, his second return of 10-plus yards this season.
Orion Phillips punted twice for 81 yards, including a long of 49 yards.

The No. 23 Utah football team dropped a back-and-forth battle on the road against the No. 15 BYU Cougars, 24-21, in front of 64,794 fans at Lavell Edwards Stadium.
Utah is now 5-2 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 Conference play, while BYU improves to 7-0 and 4-0 in the Big 12.Â
The Utes outgained the Cougars, 470-368, and rushed for 226 yards. Utah was able to take a 17-14 lead with 11:19 left in the fourth quarter, but BYU scored 14 unanswered points to build a two-score lead. The Utes answered with a late score of their own but were unable to complete the comeback after an attempted onside kick.Â
Utah is now 2-2 against the Cougars when the two sides are both ranked.
Utah held BYU to 228 yards of total offense through the first three quarters of play. Logan Fano led the Utah defense with a career-high eight tackles, while Jackson Bennee matched his career high that he set last week against Arizona State with eight stops.Â
John Henry Daley and Jonah Lea'ea each tallied sacks while the Utes' defense combined for six tackles for loss.Â
The Utes limited BYU to conversions on just three of 12 third-down tries and one of three fourth downs. BYU scored points on all four trips to the red zone, while Utah was only successful on two of four attempts.
Offensively, Daniel Bray led the Utah offense with a career night. The freshman rushed 10 times for 121 yards and a touchdown - a 49-yard score, Utah's longest since the 2023 season. Bray averaged 12.1 yards per carry.
Devon Dampier completed 20-of-36 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns to go with an interception. He also rushed for 64 yards on 15 carries.
Ryan Davis and Dallen Bentley led the Utah receiving corps, each tallying 60-plus receiving yards. Davis hauled in seven catches for 66 yards and a touchdown, while Bentley nabbed four catches for 65 yards, including a 32-yard pitch-and-catch from Dampier.Â
