Beach Volleyball Falls to No. 20 Stanford and No. 5 Hawaii

STANFORD, Calif. – The Utah beach volleyball team dropped its matches to No. 20 Stanford and No. 5 Hawaii in the Bay Area Classic on Sunday, March 1.

First, the Utes took on the home team and the Cardinal took care of business winning 5-0. Sommer Daniel and Kinga Windisch battled taking the first set, but Stanford bounced back to win the second and third sets to take the dual.

Going against Hawaii, Utah switched up some pairs putting Tiyana Hallums with Madelyn Robinson and Mckenna Granato with Keana Smalls. In the end, Hawaii proved to be too strong taking the match 5-0.

Utah will travel to Los Angeles, California next weekend to take on Oregon and Arizona State on Saturday, March 7.
