SALT LAKE CITY - Â The Utah Beach Volleyball program has released its 2019 schedule.

The Utes will play in four tournaments including hosting its first tournament ever on April 13.

"We are going into our third season of beach volleyball and are excited to get started," head coach
Brenda Whicker said. "It is one of the fastest growing NCAA sports and we are fortunate to be a part of the growth. That growth is evident in our program as well. Â We will be hosting our first home matches this year on April 13
th, so hope to see you all there! We always finish our season with the Pac-12 Championships, which is challenging as we compete against some of the best teams in beach volleyball."

Utah begins the season against Pac-12 opponent Cal on Thursday, March 7.

They then will travel to Saint Mary's for a tournament that weekend against Saint Mary's, Feather River College and San Francisco.

Their next tournament will be at Grand Canyon to take on the host school as well as Long Beach City College and UAB.
Â
After heading to Tempe, Arizona to take on Arizona State, Abilene Christian and Arizona, the Utes will finish their regular season by hosting their first tournament on campus since becoming a program.

The Pac-12 Championship is April 25-27 in Los Angeles, California.
