On the outcome of the game -
"It's a disappointing loss. Congratulations to Oregon. They hung in all day and made plays."
"We all share in the blame but ultimately I'll take the blame, it all falls on me."
"We couldn't take care of business today. They have a lot of great players and proved today that they have talent."
"We now need to regroup because we have a tough road game at Colorado. It's a chance to get nine wins and we'll focus on Colorado."
"It's disappointing. We had our eyes set on the South title and obviously didn't get it done today."
On the play of offense -
"We had 250 yards of offense in the first half, but didn't finish drives and didn't score enough in the first half. The second half we didn't make enough plays. That was the difference in the game, they made a play at the end."
Was the team overlooking Oregon -
"Practice all week was good. Our focus and concentration was good and we knew what type of talent Oregon had and what we were up against."
On Hunter Dimick's career sacks record -
"Hunter had a tremendous accomplishment, but I'm sure he'll tell you it doesn't mean much compared to a win."
What was lost today -
"We lost a chance to win the South and that's really the next step for our program."
On the play of the defense -
"Our zone coverage was ridiculously bad today. Oregon exposed it all day."
On what defense was called for the final play -
"The final play was a pressure blitz with man coverage on the corners."
"We didn't execute consistently for all four quarters and that's the difference."
On the special teams TD -
"The special teams TD was big for momentum and so was the last touchdown pass to Moeai was as well. We should have capitalized but didn't."
How do you bounce back next week -
"Our guys will pick themselves back up and be ready to go next week."
"We got to make a play and we didn't. It's a tough loss."
"We still have work do to and our focus is on to Colorado."
OREGON QUOTES
Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich
On waiting for decision of the review for final play -
"That was a long, long, long review. There would have been a lot of questions if that had been a touchdown. I thought our guys battled through a few of those, a couple more injuries, and some situations that were questionable that happened and guys just drove on excellent defense in the fourth quarter in their stadium, down, and stared it in the face."
On what changed for the offense in the fourth quarter -
"In the first half, I thought we let that one slip in the first half of how we talked all week. Utah had not been a great starting team and they weren't really tonight and we didn't take advantage of that. I was a little worried about that when it was 7-3 and they hit really the reverse and nothing really sustained and something we couldn't adjust to but the big play got us. Just to stick with how the year's gone and how this game went a lot of ways with some of the injuries that is a big time effort to close that out. We were probably sparked a lot by the defense getting some three and outs and big time stops there late in the third and in the fourth."
On what the win means to the team -
"It's big. We talked about for us and also we want to be in that locker room where its quote on quote was on the line here in the coming years. Just talked about that from both angles. I can't say enough about how those boys have stuck together throughout this season and here again today it could have been, "Oh here we go again" in a heartbeat. So I am very, very proud of that."
 On the last play -
"I think it was a situation where basically we kind of had no options on that play and sometimes we have verticals where guys can stop and that was one they can't. We don't want a situation in that type of field position where there's hesitation on anybody's part. So the quarterback has him counted out or hesistation they just throw it to the back pylon and that's what happened."
