The Utah women's basketball team begins Pac-12 Conference play against Washington State on Saturday, Jan. 2 at 5 p.m. MT and Washington on Monday, Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. MT.
Utah is 8-3 overall this season with a 7-0 mark in the friendly confines of the Huntsman Center.

Boarding Utes: Utah has out-rebounded its opponents in all 11 games. The Utes are out-rebounding their foes 44.1 to 33.1 for a +11.0 margin, which ranks fourth in the Pac-12.
Warming Up in December: The Utes won five of their six games in December, taking each contest by an average of 15.2 points. Utah shot 43.5% (168-375) from the field and held its opponents to 36.0% (134-371). The Utes out-rebounded their foes 47.3 to 32.5.
Magic Numbers: Utah is 8-0 this season when scoring 60 or more points. Conversely, the Utes are 0-3 when not reaching the 60-point plateau. Defensively, Utah is 8-0 when holding its opponents to 70 points or less. The Utes have held their opponents to under 40 percent shooting in all eight of their victories.
UC Davis Recap: The Utes shot 59.7 percent from the floor (34-67) and had three hit double-figures in points to lead Utah to an 88-58 win over UC Davis on Dec. 29 in the Jon M. Huntsman Center. This is Utah's best non-conference mark since 2012-13. The Utes never trailed the Aggies and this was Utah's highest-scoring output of the season (the highest was a 95-point effort against CSUN on Dec. 2, 2015). The Utes outrebounded the Aggies 47-28 and Utah also earned a 44-28 edge over UC Davis for points in the paint with a 20-2 edge in second-chance points. Utah's bench players also outscored the UCD bench, 33-18. Utah was efficient at the 3-point line, making its first two attempts from distance in the first quarter, and ended the game shooting 58.3 (7-12). Defensively from long range, Utah limited UCD to a 27.8 shooting percentage (5-18).
Crozon's Double-Doubles: Junior wing Paige Crozon has five double-doubles in Utah's six games during the month of December. Crozon is averaging 14.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game and shooting 44.4% (28-63) from the floor and 10-for-24 (41.7%) from 3-point territory. Crozon is second on the team in scoring, rebounding and steals this season. Crozon is third (29th in NCAA) in the Pac-12 in free throw percentage (.875, 28-32). Crozon is seventh in the Pac-12 with 6.4 defensive rebounds per game and eighth in the league (94th in NCAA) with 8.7 rebounds per game. She is 12th in offensive rebounds per game (2.4) and ranks 24th in the Pac-12 in scoring (11.9 ppg). Crozon is 10th in the Pac-12 in 3-point shooting (41.5, 17-41). She is eighth in the Pac-12 with 32.3 minutes per game and second on the team with 1.1 steals per game.
Crozon added 10 points and 10 rebounds for her fourth consecutive double-double on Dec. 29 against UC Davis. She has five double-doubles in the last six games. The Humboldt, Saskatchewan native hit two of her three, 3-point attempts to go with an assist and steal. Crozon has scored 10 or more points six times this season and 15 times in her career. Crozon, a Humboldt, Saskatchewan native, has been in double-digits for rebounds five times in 2015-16.
Potter in the Post: Utah redshirt sophomore forward Emily Potter is among the leaders in the Pac-12 and NCAA in eight different statistical categories.
? First in the Pac-12 and fifth in the NCAA with 8.9 defensive boards per contest.
? Second in the Pac-12 and 29th in the NCAA in blocked shots per game (2.5).
? Second in the Pac-12 and eighth in the NCAA with 12.1 total rebounds per game.
? Third in the Pac-12 and 23rd in the NCAA in field goal percentage at 59.0 (79-134) percent.
? Third in the Pac-12 and sixth in the NCAA with seven double-doubles.
? Fourth in the Pac-12 and 56th in the NCAA in scoring with 18.1 points per game.
? Eighth in the Pac-12 in offensive rebounding (3.2 orpg).
? Twelfth in the Pac-12 in free throw shooting at 65.1% (41-63) percent.
Potter has posted her five straight double-doubles and seven total this season. She has 11 over her career. Potter scored a game-high 22 points on Dec. 29 against UC Davis for her 29th career double-figure scoring game and she has 10 this season in 11 games. She secured the double-double with 13 rebounds to go with four blocks.
In seven games at home this season, Potter is averaging 20.4 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per contest. She is shooting 62.0% from the floor (57-92) and has made 29 of 39 free throw attempts (74.4) in the Huntsman Center.
Regarding Rodriguez: Senior point guard Danielle Rodriguez stands 10th in the league (145th in NCAA) with a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio (45-28). She is 10th in the Pac-12 (122nd in NCAA) with 4.1 assists per game and also 10th in the league with 31.1 minutes per game. She leads the team with 1.3 steals per contest and is third on the Ute roster with 9.0 points per game.
Kuklok For 3: Senior Katie Kuklok equaled her season-best for the third time with 15 points on Dec. 29 against UC Davis after knocking down each shot she took as she was 6-for-6 from the field (5-for-5 from 3-point range) for 15 points, which was her third game with 10 or more points this season. She also dished out an assist and grabbed two rebounds. Kuklok leads the team with 20 made 3-pointers this season and is second with a .408 (20-49) percentage from long range.
