Utah finishes its season with a 10-3 record. It is the fourth time in head coach Kyle Whittingham's tenure that Utah has finished with 10 victories (13-0 in 2008, 10-3 in 2009 and 10-3 in 2010).
Utah raises its record to 9-1 in bowl games under Kyle Whittingham (90%), giving him the best bowl win percentage in NCAA history and breaking a tie with former USC and UNLV coach John Robinson (7-1, 89.9%). The Utes have won 12 of their last 13 bowl games.
The Utes have won five-straight games against BYU and 10 of the last 13 games. Utah leads the series 58-34-4.
The Utes led 35-0 after the first quarter, which lasted over an hour, and set a Las Vegas Bowl record for points in a quarter as well as a Utah record for most first-quarter points (since 1968).
With three interceptions today, Utah has 22 for the season, which is tied for third-most all-time at Utah and is the most the Utes have had in a season since 1979.

Gionni Paul recovered a fumble, his fourth fumble recovery of the season. He had eight takeaways this season (4 fumble recoveries, 4 interceptions) and participated in nine total takeaways, including a forced fumble that was recovered by Utah. Paul led Utah with eight tackles in the game.
Tevin Carter had two interceptions, returning the first 28 yards for his second career touchdown (first of the season), and returning the second 34 yards to the 1-yard line to set up a touchdown. He has four career picks.
Dominique Hatfield recorded his fourth pick of the season in the first quarter and scored on a 46-yard return for his second career touchdown. He has five career interceptions.
Lowell Lotulelei forced a fumble, his second career forced fumble (first of the season).
Reginald Porter had four pass breakups, the second time that he has had four pass breakups in a game this year (vs. Oregon State), which ties the school single-game record. He has 11 for the year, which is tied for the fifth-most in a season at Utah.
Joe Williams ran for a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs in the first quarter, his second and third scores of the season. He had 91 yards rushing on 25 carries and added 22 receiving yards (two catches) for a game-high 113 all-purpose yards.
Travis Wilson scored on a 20-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, his seventh of the year, to bring his career touchdown total to a school-record 75 (54 passing, 20 rushing). The third four-year starting quarterback in Utah history, Wilson set school records at Utah for games played by a quarterback (46), starts by a quarterback (39) and wins by a starting quarterback (24-15).
Tom Hackett averaged 49.5 yards on six punts (297 yards). He dropped four punts inside the 20-yard line, including . punts at the two and three-yard lines. Hackett rushed for 21 yards on a fake punt for a first down. He is 4-for-4 in his career on fake punts (2-for-2 this season).
