Utah finishes the regular season with a 9-3 record, 6-3 in the Pac-12 and tied for a share of the Pac-12 South. Nine wins ties for the most Utah has had since joining the Pac-12 (9-4 in 2014) and six conference victories is the most that the Utes have had in Pac-12 play.
Colorado was held to just 67 yards rushing and had just 28 yards rushing through the third quarter. The Buffaloes were 1-3 in the red zone.
Travis Wilson played his 45th career game at quarterback, breaking the previous school record of 44 games set by Brian Johnson (2004-05, 07-08). He surpassed the 2,000-yard passing mark for the season, going 10-for-26 for 108 yards (1 TD, 1 INT) and has 2,024 passing yards for the year.
Joe Williams had a career-high 187 rushing yards (34 carries). He had a long rush of 64 yards and scored his first career touchdown in the third quarter on a five-yard run.
Kenneth Scott scored his fourth receiving touchdown (tied for the team lead) of the season on 16-yard reception in the first quarter. He had three catches for a team-high 31 yards before leaving the game with an injury. Scott has 126 career receptions, which is 10th-most all-time at Utah.
Gionni Paul had his fourth pick of the season in the third quarter. It was the eighth takeaway he has been involved in this season. He led Utah with 13 tackles and also had a pass breakup.
Marcus Williams had his team-leading fifth interception of the year in the first quarter. He also had a pass breakup that led to an interception and six tackles.
Cory Butler-Byrd made his third interception of the year in the second quarter.
Kylie Fitts blocked a field goal in the first quarter, his first career blocked kick and Utah's second block this year (Cory Butler-Byrd blocked a punt against USC).
Viliseni Fauonuku had four of Utah's six sacks on the day (seven total tackles). He has nine career sacks.
Andy Phillips went 2-for-2 in field goals with makes of 37 and 27 yards. He has 23 field goals this year, tying his own school record for field goals in a season, which he set in 2014. Phillips is 23-for-27 in field goals and has 10-straight makes.
Tom Hackett dropped three of his six punts inside the 20-yard line with three punts of 50+ yards (354 yards, 50.6 average).
Attendance was 45,823, Utah's 38th-consecutive sellout dating back to the 2010 season opener.
