The University of Utah women's basketball team concludes its Junkanoo Jam schedule in the Bahamas against Boston College on Friday, Nov. 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. MT).
Utah is off to a 3-1 start, its best opening stretch since a 7-0 mark during the 2012-13 season.
The Utes won their season opener against South Dakota on Nov. 13 (66-59), defeated Lamar 71-67 on Nov. 17 and completed the sweep of their three-game homestand with a 74-62 victory over George Mason on Nov. 20. Utah sustained its first defeat of the season to No. 21/24 Oklahoma, 70-55, on Nov. 26 in the opening game of the Junkanoo Jam.
Boston College has won each of its first four contests by an average of 15.8 points per game. The Eagles have defeated Providence (67-41), Maine (55-48), Holy Cross (60-51) and Boston University (58-37).

Utes for the Block: Utah was second in the Pac-12 Conference and 10th in the country in blocks per game entering the Junkanoo Jam and currently averages 6.0 blocks per game. The Utes had nine blocks in the Lamar game, tying for second-most in the Pac-12 in 2015-16.
Utes at the Line: Entering the Oklahoma game, the Utes were second in the league and 14th in free throw shooting. This season, the Utes have a 78.4 percentage at the line, converting 58 of 74 attempts.
Utah Hits the Boards: Utah was ranked third in the Pac-12 and 15th in the NCAA in defensive rebounds and currently averages 31.5 per contest.
Oklahoma Review: The Utes opened the 2015 Junkanoo Jam with a 70-55 loss to No. 21/24 Oklahoma on Thursday in Freeport, Bahamas. The Utes held 36-30 advantage in rebounding over the Sooners to go with a 45.1% to 40.3% edge in shooting percentage over the Sooners. Utah made 23 of its 51 field goal attempts for a 45.1% shooting percentage, while Oklahoma made 25 of its 62 shots for 40.3%. The Utes had 28 defensive rebounds and eight offensive boards for a total of 36, while Oklahoma had 20 defensive rebounds and 10 offensive boards for 30 total. Seventeen of the Utes' 23 field goals were assisted.
Pulling for Potter: Before this weekend, redshirt sophomore Emily Potter ranked third in the nation and first in the Pac-12 in defensive rebounds and she currently averages 8.75 per game.
Potter was fourth in the NCAA and led the Pac-12 in blocked shots per game and averages 3.75 per game through four contests. She led the Pac-12 in rebounding and was 11th in the country. She is currently pulling down 11.25 rebounds per game. Potter was tied for third in the Pac-12 in scoring and currently has 18.8 points per game. She was fourth in field goal percentage and now has a 60.4 mark (29-48). She was tied for seventh in the league in offensive boards at the start of the Junkanoo Jam and currently averages 2.5 per game. Potter poured in a game-high 15 points on Nov. 26 against Oklahoma after hitting six of 11 field goal attempts for a 54.5 shooting percentage. She reached double-figures in points for the fourth time in as many games this season and the 23rd time of her career. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native also tied for game-high honors with six rebounds and had two blocks. Potter has six career double-doubles and seven career double-digit rebound outings.
Crozon Cashes In: Junior wing Paige Crozon is second on the team in scoring and rebounding. Crozon is scoring 9.3 points per game. In the latest statistical rankings, Crozon was 10th in the Pac-12 in rebounding average and currently is grabbing 7.0 rebounds per game. Crozon is tied for the team lead with 32.5 minutes per game. She was sixth in the Pac-12 in defensive rebounds and has a 5.25 per-game average after the Oklahoma game. Crozon is also tied for the team lead with 1.5 steals per game. Crozon has tied her career high with eight rebounds in three different contests this season.
Tanaeya's Totals: Sophomore Tanaeya Boclair is tied for third on the team in scoring with 9.0 points per game. She was 10th in the latest Pac-12 stats in free throws (80.0, 8-10) and is second on the team with 4.0 assists per contest. She is tied for the team lead with 32.5 minutes per game. Boclair distributed a career-high six assists and tied for the game-high mark with six rebounds against Oklahoma on Thursday.
Dani's Dimes: Senior point guard Danielle Rodriguez is third in the Pac-12 with 31.8 minutes per game. She was sixth in the latest Pac-12 stats with a team-high 4.25 assists per game and 13th in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio. She currently has a 1.7 mark (17-10). Rodriguez scored eight points after making four of seven shots on Thursday against Oklahoma. She also grabbed two rebounds and handed out two assists.
Thursday's game against Oklahoma was the 100th career outing for Rodriguez, who has started 99 career games for the Utes. She has 333 career assists is 10th in school history and her career 37.1 3-point shooting percentage would be eighth in school history, but is 18 shots shy of qualifying.
Bragging on Bowie: Sophomore guard Gabrielle Bowie made her first career 3-point basket on Thursday against No. 21/24 Oklahoma.
Featuring Fatuesi: Sophomore post player Joeseta Fatuesi turned in a season-high five points after making both of her shots from the floor on Thursday against Oklahoma to go with four rebounds.
Bean Debuts: Freshman guard Erika Bean set three new season highs with five points, three rebounds and three assists on Thursday against Oklahoma. She connected on two of three field goal attempts.
Boston College Series History: This will be Utah's second meeting with Boston College. The Utes beat the Eagles 57-54 on Mar. 26, 2006 in an NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinal game in Albuquerque, N.M., for the school's first-ever Elite Eight bid.
A Glance at Boston College: The Eagles are holding their opponents to 44.3 points per game. BC is shooting 39.7% as a team from 3-point territory, making 25 of 63 attempts this season.
