The Lynne Roberts Coach's Show will air live on ESPN 700, the home of Utah Women's Basketball, every Monday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. MT beginning Nov. 30 through February 29.
Fans can listen to each show at ESPN 700 and chime in via Twitter by mentioning @UtahWBasketball in their tweets.
The Voice of Utah Women's Basketball, Rick Bouillon, will host the show and fans will hear from Roberts as well as a Utah women's basketball player each week throughout the season as the Utes face their non-conference and Pac-12 competition.
"The support that the University of Utah Athletic Department and ESPN 700 is showing for women's basketball is awesome," Roberts said. "We want our team to be a premier program in this community and this city so this is a great first step. Any type of marketing is about brand awareness and this show will allow us to get our message out to people who haven't heard it before. We have a chance to do that every week and let people know about our program. We're excited."
From Tuesday through Monday at 12 p.m. MT of the week leading up to each show, @UtahWBasketball will select a topic for fans to discuss using the hashtag, #LetLynneKnow. Coach Roberts will select her favorite tweet from those who follow @UtahWBasketball. The winner will get their tweet read on air and receive a pair of courtside seats to a Utah women's basketball home game as well as a t-shirt.
Mingle with all 15 Utah women's basketball players and the entire Ute coaching staff at live show events that will be open to the public on Jan. 25 and Feb. 15 at the 50 West Comedy Club and Café, located below the ESPN 700 Studio on 50 Broadway. Fans will also receive giveaways as well as refreshments at each live show.
"We're going to have some big events where fans can come out and meet the team," Roberts said. "This will give our fans a chance to see all of the people they have been hearing on the radio show and generate a lot of excitement for the season."
The Utes head to the Junkanoo Jam in Freeport, Bahamas over the Thanksgiving holiday to face Oklahoma (Thur., Nov. 26 at 4:15 p.m. ET) and Boston College (Fri., Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. ET).
