UTAH vs. TEXAS TECH NOTES

• Utah moved to 4-3 all-time against Texas Tech with the win on Friday.
• Utah is now 2-1 all-time when facing the Red Raiders on a neutral court.
• Utah moved to 3-1 all-time in contests played in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
• Utah is 3-0 to open the season for the first time since the 2013-14 season. It is the second time to start 3-0 under head coach Larry Krystkowiak.
• Junior Lorenzo Bonam recorded a career-high 20 points to lead the way for Utah. He was one of four starters in double figures.
• Bonam has now scored 10+ points or more in back-to-back games after scoring just one point in his Utah debut.
• Senior Jordan Loveridge scored 18 points on Thursday. He has scored 10+ points in all three games this season and it marked the 70th time scoring in double-digits in his career.
• Utah limited Texas Tech to just 15.8 percent (3-for-19) shooting from beyond the arc.
• The Utes shot over 75 percent from the free throw line for a second straight game, finishing Thursday's contest with a 21-for-27 effort from the charity stripe.
• Utah will face Miami in the second round of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. Utah is 0-1 in its only meeting with the Hurricanes, an 88-87 defeat to the Hurricanes back in 1966.
