Gymnastics Red Rocks Preview is Friday

SALT LAKE CITY--
Utah's annual Red Rocks Gymnastics Preview is Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. Admission to the popular event is free. The doors and the Kid Zone will open at 5:30 p.m. The Kid Zone will feature Santa Claus, face painting and a poster making station.
Admission for the preview is free and seating is open. The first 2,500 fans in the doors will receive a 2015 schedule magnet. Season ticket holders may pick up their free gift on the lounge prior to the meet.
The gymnasts will be introduced with a fireworks display and will then divide into two teams for an intra-squad competition. At the conclusion of the meet, they will sign autographs.
Season tickets will be on sale at the preview for as low as $40 in the lower bowl and three-packs are also available. Tickets may also be purchased at UtahUtes.com or by calling 801-581-UTIX. The five-meet home schedule includes national powerhouses UCLA (Jan. 23), Stanford (Feb. 21) and Michigan (Mar. 6).
Fans at the preview will see nine returning letterwinners and six All-Americans and will get their first look at four freshmen. Utah's senior class features four All-Americans and is comprised of 2014 Pac-12 all-around champion and Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year Tory Wilson, four-time Pac-12 event titlist Georgia Dabritz, 2012 Pac-12 all-around champion Corrie Lothrop and Becky Tutka.
Utah's freshman class consists of Junior Olympic champions Kari Lee, Samantha Partyka and Maddie Stover, as well as Tiffani Lewis.
The Utes will open their season on Jan. 9 at BYU and their first home meet is Jan. 16 against Southern Utah, Boise State and UC Davis.
