DULUTH, Ga.--
The Utah gymnastics team competes for the national championship today in the 2012 NCAA Super Six. It's a Pac-12 vs. SEC final with Utah, UCLA, Stanford, Alabama, Florida and Arkansas advancing out of yesterday's semifinals. The meet is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. EDT (2 p.m. MDT) and will be broadcast live on ESPN3.com.
While there will not be live streaming due to the ESPN broadcast, there will be . Look to Twitter for periodic Utah Updates.
The Utes drew the balance beam as their opening event where Corrie Lothrop will lead them off. Utah then rotates to a bye, floor, vault and bye before finishing the meet on the bars.
Utah, which qualified as the runner-up in the afternoon session yesterday, saw five gymnasts combine to win eight All-America honors. Freshmen first-team All-Americans Kailah Delaney and Georgia Dabritz qualified for individual event finals and will compete on vault in the final day of the Championships, Sunday.
Other All-Americans were Corrie Lothrop (first-team all-around, second-team bars, second-team floor), Stephanie McAllister (first-team all-around, second-team vault) and Tory Wilson (second-team vault).
