Utah Head Coach Larry Krystkowiak
"You have a lot of problems defensively when you give up a 60-something defensive field goal percentage in the second half. That was one of many things we didn't do very well. I just want our guys to compete more. I can't stand watching people catch the ball in the post and we are behind them. It's pretty simple, it's just a matter of wanting it more. There are two things you can do when things don't go well...the old fight or flight, and right now we are just kind of taking flight instead of continuing to fight. It's disheartening for us. If we're undermanned, the guys we have need to fight more, and right now we don't have enough of that."
"We're going to improve, it's important everyone takes that as a personal challenge. We have a lot of areas that need improvement. We will be looking at that tonight, we will go back and break down the film. That's what we get paid to do as coaches, try to get the players better. Hopefully we quit making some of the mistakes we are making. I know we will improve. The unfortunate thing is that all teams improve as the season goes along and we have a lot of work to do. Will that improvement lead to some W's...I certainly hope so."
