Utah Head Coach Larry Krystkowiak
"I thought we came out pretty well and made shots and it was a competitive game. But then I think we fooled ourselves into the mode that we didn't have to play as hard. We relaxed and weren't crisp, then they made some 3-pointers as they do."
"Our defensive presence in the post could have been better than it was. There's nothing we can do about a lack of size other than adjust the game plan, but we were focused on Lillard and then some other guys stepped up and hurt us."
"I don't think this is a step back. We have said the whole time that we have to learn something every game. We played a good team with some firepower. We will have an easy time identifying our mistakes and then we will break them down and try to fix them."
"It's been a rough couple of months and it's not fun to go through a stretch like that but I think all of guys' minds are going to be fresher when we come back [from the Christmas break]. I don't think the next stretch can be any rougher than this was."
