The Utah gymnasts and staff gathered together to celebrate the recently-completed 2010 season at the annual team banquet on May 1. After dinner, co-coaches Greg and Megan Marsden recognized four award winners.
Recipients of the awards follow:
Most Inspirational: Stephanie McAllister
Most Improved: Jacquelyn Johnson
Academics-Athletics: Daria Bijak
Most Valuable: Kyndal Robarts
The senior class of Bijak, Jamie Deetscreek, Annie DiLuzio and Beth Rizzo was also recognized for contributing to four NCAA Super Six finalist teams, including runner-up finishes in 2007 and 2008, and a bronze medal in 2009. The 2010 Utes finished sixth after qualifying for their 16th Super Six in the 18 years of the format.
