These games are crazy. Everyone has a chance to win any games. We have been the lucky ones.
On coming back after the overtime loss:
We didn't know. We can't know. Sometimes the losing team in a game like that can never recover while the winning team thinks they're invincible. It's a good thing that we were able to come back and play with heart. It's huge psychologically for us.
On Taryn Wicijowski:
She is doing amazing things as a freshman. She got a lot of attention today and still managed to be solid.
On Kalee Whipple:
Kalee is not letting a poor shooting effort affect her in other places. She may have when she was younger. She had that big steal, and hit those free throws and did many other things for us.
On defending the three in the final seconds:
We made sure the kids stayed outside of them. They have to play on our offensive side where they are going to come. Having to make a three with 1.3 seconds left is tough.
