SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's basketball team closes out its four-game homestand against Idaho State on Wednesday, Dec. 8. Radio is available on ESPN 700 with a live video feed at www.UtahUtes.com.
Wednesday's contest will mark Utah's third game in the past five days.
Utah snapped a three-game slide as four players scored in double figures to defeat NAIA Westminster, 78-36, on Monday evening. Iwalani Rodrigues had a career-high 31 points for Utah, going 7-of-7 from three-point range. Westminster was held to 23-percent shooting.
Three players are averaging in double-figure scoring for Utah - Janita Badon (12.3 ppg), Rodrigues (10.2 ppg) and Michelle Plouffe (10.2 ppg).
Idaho State is 5-4 on the year and is on a two-game winning streak with victories over High Point and Utah Valley. The Bengals are led by Chelsea Pickering's 17.0 points per game, while Kaela Oakes is shooting at a 12.1 ppg clip. Ashleigh Vella has a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game.
Utah holds a 27-0 all-time advantage in the series. Last year Utah needed overtime to defeat the Bengals, 66-50.
