"We got into a hole again. We tried to battle back but we just executed poorly and missed opportunities. I thought our transition defense in the first half struggled and we gave up easy baskets."
"We didn't shoot well here in Hawaii. We have to make shots against the zone or we will continue to see it. I thought we rebounded well, we had 20 offensive rebounds which I liked, but we have to make more shots and make more free throws."
"We had a defensive stretch in the second half where I thought our D was as good as ever. We forced some turnovers and started to play our way back into it. Toward the end we had a play to tie the game on an offensive rebound, but we didn't make it."
"We still haven't played a 40-minute game. We have to play smarter, more consistently and with more grit for more of the game."
