SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's basketball team returns to the court on Saturday, Dec. 4, against Arkansas, at 3:00 p.m. MT. Radio is on 570 AM with play-by-play from Rick Bouillon.
Utah is hosting `Uth' day, with a Kids Zone opening at 2:00 p.m. featuring a balloon artist, face painter, poster making station and more. Also, the first 200 fans will receive a free water bottle.
Utah dropped a heartbreaker to Washington in its last outing, 58-55 after a late three-pointer by the Huskies. Michelle Plouffe led Utah with her third double-double of the season, scoring 17 points with 10 rebounds. Brittany Knighton had her first double figure performance of the season with 14 points.
Utah has had six of its first seven games decided by 12 points or less. The Utes are 3-3 in those games.
Arkansas is 8-0 on the season. The Razorbacks are coming off a 57-54 come-from-behind victory over UT-Arlington. Four players are averaging in double-figure scoring, led by Lyndsay Harris' 12.9 points per game.
Utah won the only game the two teams have ever played, a 73-64 victory in Fort Worth, Texas, back in 1997.
