-Utah has won 10 consecutive MWC home games dating back to the 2008 season.
-Utah is now 13-4 all-time against TCU including an 8-2 mark at home.
-The Utes are 6-2 this year when holding teams under 40.0% shooting. TCU shot 30.8% in the game (16-of-52).
-Utah held TCU's top four scorers well below their season averages. Ronnie Moss scored just seven points after averaging 14.6 ppg coming into the contest. Utah held Zvonko Buljan to eight points (14.5), Edvinas Ruzgas to two (13.1) and Kevin Butler to two (6.7).
-Utah head coach Jim Boylen got his 50th career win with the victory.
-Sophomore center David Foster has now blocked at least one shot in all 14 of his games this year and has multiple blocks in 12 of them. His season total now stands at 60, which is 23 blocks ahead of the pace set by single-season record-holder, Luke Nevill, who had 37 blocks at this time in 2008-09. Nevill finished the year with 92 swatted shots, including the postseason. Foster is on pace for 124 blocks in the regular season alone.
-Freshman guard/forward Shawn Glover made his first career start in place of the injured Kim Tillie. He finished the game with a career-high 10 points, shooting 4-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
-Sophomore guard Jace Tavita recorded a career-high six assists and a career-high three steals.
-Junior forward Jay Watkins continues to be the team's best free throw shooter as he hit 5-of-6 from the line to increase his season total to 25-of-28 (89.3%). He finished with 11 points, hitting double figures for the fifth time this year, and added four rebounds.
-Freshman guard Marshall Henderson pulled down a career-high eight rebounds, made two assists, had two steals and blocked a shot.
-Junior guard Carlon Brown finished with 11 points, reaching double digits for the seventh consecutive game and the 12th time this year.
-Senior guard Luka Drca finished with 14 points, all in the second half, hitting double digits for the third straight game and the 10th time this year.
