-The Runnin' Utes shot a season-high 50.9% (28-55) from the field.
-Utah's 16-point win marks the highest margin of defeat for Michigan this year.
-Utah is now 2-0 against the Big 10 conference this year including its 60-58 victory over No. 20 Illinois.
-Utah is 2-0 all-time against Michigan at home. The Utes beat the Wolverines, 117-102 in their only other meeting nearly 40 years ago, in their inaugural season in the Huntsman Center.
-The Utes held Michigan to 34.0% shooting for the game (17-50), including 28.6% (8-28) in the second half. Utah shot 50.9% on the night (28-55).
-Freshman guard Marshall Henderson scored a career-high 22 points, tying the highest scoring output by any Ute this year. He hit that mark on a career-best nine field goals, including a career-high tying four 3-pointers.
-With five blocks in the game, sophomore center David Foster has now blocked at least one shot in all nine games this year and has multiple blocks in seven of them. His season total now stands at 35, 16 blocks ahead of the pace set by single-season record-holder, Luke Nevill, who had 19 blocks through nine games in 2008-09. Nevill finished the year with 92 swatted shots. Foster is on pace for 116 blocks in the regular season alone.
-Foster also scored 10 points, coming two shy of his career high and hitting double digits for the second straight game. He was nearly perfect from the field, going 5-of-6.
-Senior guard Luka Drca has a game-high six assists, leading the Utes in assists for the seventh time in nine games.
-Junior guard Carlon Brown dished out a season-high five assists and scored 12 points, hitting double digits for the sixth time this season. He was also the game's leading rebounder with eight boards.
-Senior forward Kim Tillie tied two career highs with three steals and three assists.
