SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's basketball team (5-7) returns home looking to end a three-game losing streak Tuesday against UT-San Antonio (8-2). Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. MT at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
This game marks the first-ever meeting between Utah and UTSA. The Utes enter the game with a 4-4 record at home including two straight defeats, while the Roadrunners are 2-2 on the road this year.
Utah is coming off a 76-64 loss at Pepperdine last Wednesday. Junior guard Carlon Brown (Riverside, Calif.) was the Utes' leading scorer in the game, pouring in 21 points, while freshman guard Marshall Henderson (Hurst, Texas) added 20 of his own. Redshirt freshman center Jason Washburn (Battle Creek, Mich.) was the team's leading rebounder with six boards, while adding eight points in his first start of the year.
