Beadles Named to Phil Steele All-America team.
SALT LAKE CITY - The honors continue for Utah offensive tackle Zane Beadles, as he has been named to the Sporting News All-America Team as a third-team pick.
Beadles was previously selected as a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America All-American and a second-team Walter Camp All-American.
Beadles is a four-year starter for the Utes and a three-time all-Mountain West Conference selection, earning first-team honors in 2008 and 2009. He has 24 cuts and 13 pancake blocks this season, winning 675 of his 770 total plays for a team-best 88% overall grade.
The mechanical engineering major, who is scheduled to graduate in December, also earned second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors. He was a finalist for the Lowe's Senior Class Award and Wuerffel Trophy.
