-Junior forward Jay Watkins and senior guard Luka Drca were named to the Las Vegas Invitational All-Tournament Team for the their outstanding play over the four tournament games. Watkins played in two games, totaling 26 points on 8-of-16 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds. Drca started all four tournament games, scoring 30 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and handed out 12 assists. He was a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line during the tournament.
-Utah fell behind by 24 points in the first half, its biggest deficit faced so far this season.
-Watkins recorded a Utah career-high 14 points against OSU, hitting double digits for the second straight game since returning from injury. He also grabbed nine rebounds, another Utah career best, coming one board shy of a double-double.
-Chris Hines came off the bench in the second half to score a career-high 10 points on 3-of-4 from the field and 3-of-4 from the foul line. He played a career-high 11 minutes in the game.
-Sophomore center David Foster has recorded at least one block in every game this year. With one swat against OSU, he brought his season total to 17.
-Utah outrebounded its opponent for the second straight game.
-Utah shot 17-of-52 from the field against the Cowboys, logging its lowest shooting percentage of the season at .327.
