Utah skiing alum Snorri Einarsson finished in the top 25 in two races at the Norwegian National Championships, held Jan. 15-19 in Gjovik, Norway.
Einarsson was 19th in the 15-km classic race while finishing 23rd in the men's pursuit (15-km classic + 15-km freestyle).
"It's great to see Snorri still representing with high level results, and still wearing our old suit!," Director of Skiing Eli Brown said. "We are proud to see athletes leave our program and continue on with their racing careers at such a high level. Snorri was a great asset to our program while he was here at Utah, and we wish him continued success in his ski racing career!"
Einarsson won the NCAA championship in the 20-km classic in 2007 and was a three-time All-American for the Utes. He returned to Norway after his sophomore year at Utah to pursue other educational opportunities.
