MINNEAPOLIS -
The No. 2 ranked Utah gymnastics team will try to qualify into the NCAA Championships for a record 27th year tonight, when the Utes compete in the North Central Region Championships. The meet begins at 6 p.m. Central Time (5 p.m. MT) in the Sports Pavilion on the University of Minnesota campus.
Free Live Stats and Video will be available for the regional championship. There will not be live commentary for this meet.
Utah needs to place in the top two in the regional meet in order to advance to the 2008 NCAA Championships in Athens, Ga., April 24-26. The Utes are the highest ranked team in the North Central Region, which also includes No. 11 Arkansas, No. 14 Arizona, No. 23 Iowa and unranked Southern Utah and Minnesota.
