Utah's Yu Named MWC Diver of the Week

Utah's Kwan Ling Yu was named Mountain West Conference women's Diver of the Week on Wednesday. Yu, a freshman from Yuen Long, Hong Kong, had a big weekend as she won both diving events and the Utes went on to beat both the Aztecs and Broncos.
Yu swept both the diving events at last weekend's combined dual meet with San Diego State and Boise State. She won the 3-meter diving event by 41.15 points, as she posted a score of 268.50. On the 1-meter board she scored 255.70, 38.15 points better than the second-place finisher.
Next up for the Utes is the UNLV Invitational beginning December 14.
