SALT LAKE CITY -
The No. 2 ranked University of Utah gymnastics team will go to Ann Arbor, Mich., for the NCAA Northeast Region Championships on Saturday, Apr. 8. Other teams paired with the Utes are host and No. 9-ranked Michigan, No. 14 Auburn, New Hampshire, Pittsburgh and Rutgers. Utah's rotation order will be floor, vault, bye, bars, beam, bye. The top two teams from the regional meet will qualify for the NCAA Championships in Corvallis, Ore., April 20-22. The other five regionals are being hosted by LSU, Georgia, Stanford, Arkansas and Iowa State. Utah hopes to continue its record NCAA Championships qualifying streak: It is the only program in the nation to qualify for all 24 NCAA Championships and for the last 30 national championships including the AIAW years.
