> Utah senior defensive back Eric Weddle became Utah's first defensive first-team All-American since 1994, when he was named to the 2006 AFCA All-America team on Nov. 30. The American Football Coaches Association team is selected by the nation's coaches and has been in existence since 1945. Weddle was also honored as an All-American by rivals.com, which chose him for the "utility" player on its defensive team. More information on Weddle can be found later in this release.
> Utah is 1-2 all-time against Tulsa (complete series information can be found on page two).
