SALT LAKE CITY -
Former Utes Barry Sims (Oakland Raiders) and Andre Dyson (New York Jets) have purchased 50 tickets apiece to the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl and plan to donate them to underprivileged children in the Dallas/Forth area. Each of their ticket donations amounts to a $2,000 gift. Sims, a starting offensive lineman for the Raiders since 2001, has played in the NFL since 1997. He lettered for Utah from 1995-96. Dyson, now a starting cornerback for the New York Jets, starred for Seattle's 2006 Super Bowl team. He was a second-round draft pick by Tennessee in 2001 after lettering for Utah from 1997-2000.
