- Utah increased its lead to 23-12 in the series with Weber State and has won the last six games. The Utes are 15-3 against the Wildcats in Salt Lake City and have won their last three over WSU in the Huntsman Center. Weber State's last win over Utah was during the 2000-01 season in Ogden, Utah.
- Utah led at the half for the first time this season.
- The Utes had a season-high 11 steals.
- Utah shot a season-best 55.3 percent from the field. The Utes' previous best field goal percentage mark this season was 56.0 against Southern Utah in the season opener.
- Sophomore center Luke Nevill had his second 20-point game of the season and his second in a row. He now has four 20-point games in his career. Nevill has scored in double figures in all five games this season and 23 times in his career.
- Nevill shot 11-for-12 to tie the fifth-best single-game field goal percentage mark in school history. Josh Grant went 11-of-12 against Montana Tech on Dec. 1, 1992. Four Ute players have shot 100 percent in a game with at least eight attempts.
- Junior guard Johnnie Bryant has scored in double figures in all five games in 2006-07 and 25 times in his two-year career at Utah.
- Freshman forward Stephen Weigh had his third double-figure scoring game of the season. After reaching double figures in the first two games, he scored a combined four points in the last two games.
- Sophomore forward Shaun Green scored in double figures for the fifth time in five games this season. He has 14 double-figure scoring games in his career.
