> Utah (4-4, 2-2 MWC) hosts UNLV (1-6, 0-3 MWC) on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. MT in Rice-Eccles Stadium. The game will be televised by the mtn., which is Channel 37 on the dial in Salt Lake City. It can also be heard on Sports Radio 700 the Zone.
> Some 200 former Utah student-athletes and their families will be in town this weekend to celebrate the second-annual Reunion Week. Events will include a Friday reception at Rice-Eccles Stadium, free admittance for former letter-winners to the Utah soccer, volleyball and football games on tap for the weekend, and a tailgate brunch. The former student-athletes will also be recognized at the Utah-UNLV football game.
> Utah leads its series with UNLV 10-1 and has won 10 straight since 1979. Not a single current Ute player was born the last time UNLV beat Utah. More on the series can be found on page 2 of this release.
> Utah leads the league in turnovers forced (21), kickoff returns (24.9 average) and net punting (40.3). The Utes also rate well nationally in those categories: They are No. 4 in turnovers forced, No. 17 in kickoff returns and No. 5 in net punting.
> Utah has out-scored its opponent in every quarter but the first - and the Utes are tied in that quarter with 37 points.
