"The focus hasn't been on our record. Everybody still has to play the all same games, we're not equal. Nobody was equal after the first two, so it wasn't about the record, it was just about handling that -- handling that as a competitor you don't let the losses be more than what they were. We tried to focus on how we were playing, what do we want to do better. That has been our focus."
"We only played one bad game (in the MWC). We played poorly at New Mexico and played three good games since then. We're getting good contributions from different kids, we're sharing the ball well and we've been defending better. I think we've made a better commitment to our preparation."

In the end, our basic fundamental basketball is what we have to be more accountable for; things like transition defense and closing out on shooters against teams like Utah. They expose your cracks so you have to come as close to perfect as you possibly can. That's something we've got to take away from this game and learn from for when Utah comes to Fort Collins."
