Johansson Honored Skier Of The Week

The University of Utah ski team is proud to announce junior Lina Johansson as this week's RMISA.com Skier of the Week. Johansson received this award after skiing exceptionally well in the Western State Invitational in Gunnison, Colo.
"It is great to have Lina recognized for this award," Head Coach Kevin Sweeney remarks. "She has been skiing consistently well for the team lately. This is motivating for us all as we prepare for the regional and NCAA Championships."
Johansson headlined the women's alpine team in the WSU invite. by skiing first in the giant slalom event with an overall time of 2:06.11. The Sweden native, also notched a time of 1:22.02 to place third in the slalom race.
