Ute Football Team Lands Two Junior College Recruits

SALT LAKE CITY -
Utah head football coach Urban Meyer and his staff signed two junior college players to National Letters of Intent on the NCAA mid-year JC signing date. First to fax in his signed intent form was Fano Tagovailoa, a quarterback/wide receiver who played for Coffeyville Community College. The Ute staff later received a signed commitment from Tim Harris, a defensive back out of Fort Scott Community College. Both players will enroll in classes at Utah in January.
Meyer has designs on his new recruits contributing early in their Ute careers. "When a good football program loses star players, it re-loads with its recruiting. That's what we hope we've done at safety, where we're losing the league's best player in Dave Revill. We think Tim Harris can help out by coming in and providing depth at that position. Our offense needs the flexibility to use multiple players at quarterback and direct snaps. Fano (Tagovailoa) is someone who will really help us with that."
